Silver Ships

One of these little beauties is the first Viking Open Salt that I purchased. At the time I had no idea what it even was!

These are listed as 4261 in H&J, and made by Marius Hammer and I have been told that they came with a glass liner & spoons. It is not a very big ship as it only measures about 3" Long, 1" High at the dragon heads & 1 1/2" Wide. They have a gold wash interior.

I am lucky enough to now own 3 of these beauties!

Far as I can tell, this is a hard one to find. It is made by Kristian Hestenes (1876-1929) a international renowned Gold/Silversmith from Bergen Norway. Unlike most this size, it has a dragon head at one end and a tail at the other. Bears both 830S and 925S.

The inside is gold-washed and has the embossed scene of the North Cape Cliffs against the midnight sun along with the words Norge and Nordkap.

It is 3 1/2" Long, almost 1 3/4" Tall & 1 1/4" Wide. Came with a clear glass liner.

I believe these two might have been made by the Lohne Brothers. Only one came with  spoon, so I am looking for one to fill the second.

They are just over 3" Long, 1 3/4" Tall & 1 1/4" Wide.

This beautiful Salt Cellar is made by Theodor Olsens of Bergen. It dates from early-mid 20th century. It is hallmarked 925S.

It is just over 3" Long, 1 3/4" Tall & 1 1/4" Wide. This one came with a Colbalt Blue glass liner.

These 3 are marked 925S and where made by David Andersen.

These are just over 3" Long, 1 3/4" Tall & 1 1/4" Wide.

I have yet to figure out who made this one. I can find now markings besides what is shown. It is the same size as many other ships, but the Dragon Heads on the ends are very different than most of the others. Any help on who made it would be great!

I now have 3 of these, only 1 has the spoon & glass liner.

These are just over 3" Long, 1 3/4" Tall & 1 1/4" Wide.

It is just over 3" Long, 1 3/4" Tall & 1 1/4" Wide. This one looks like the one made by Kristian Hestenes (1876-1929) a international renowned Gold/Silversmith from Bergen Norway. I do not believe it was. It is marked "Sterling" & "Sweden" on the bottom. Any help on who made it would be great!

These are just over 3" Long, 1 3/4" Tall & 1 1/4" Wide.

Got a great deal on this off of Ebay on this set of 6. They were fairly dirty and took a lot of effort to clean up. I do not recognize the Silver Smith on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.
