Here are some of the Swedish Navy I have collected. I believe all of these to be souvenirs.
This one looks to be pewter that has a brass coloring to it. It is 6 3/4" Long, 4 1/2" Tall & 1 3/4" Wide.
These may be Master Open Salts, or just souvenirs made of Pewter that depict the Norwegian Viking Ship "Osebergskipet". I am lucky enough to own 3 of them. It says: HANDSTOPT TB8 TINN on the bottom along with the name of the ship. I believe these were made by Askvoll Brug of Norway.
It is 8" Long, 2 1/2" Tall & just over 2" Wide.
It is 11" Long, 3 1/2" Tall & just over 2 1/2" Wide.
Another Master depicting the ship "Osebergskipet". Different as it only has one pedestal in the center.
It is just under 8" Long, 2 1/2" Tall & 2" Wide.
It is 9 1/2" Long, 6 3/4" Tall & 3 1/4" Wide.
Marked "TINN Made in Norway. Marked on ship "Handarbeide", which means "Handmade". It is 13 1/4 long, 4 inches wide, 9 shields.
It is marked on the bottom of this pewter Viking Ship that it is hand made.
It is 7" Long, 3 3/4" Tall & just under 3" Wide.
Made in Denmark, Sterling Silver 925 Viking Ship. has 9 Shields. To small to be a Salt Cellar, but it is cute and made of silver!
It is 2 1/4" Long, 1 3/4" Tall & just over 3/4 " Wide.
Found this one on Ebay. Looks to be all handmade, and is marked .925. Very, Very, nice craftsmanship! Looks to possibly be a Viking Ship? Picked it up cheap, or less than what the Silver would be worth.
It is 5" Long, 5" Tall & just over 3 1/2 " Wide.
This is another Viking Ship that goes with my theme. I believe it is made of Stainless Steel. I haven't tried to clean it up yet. Guessing it was made to use as a Letter Holder??
It measures 4.5" Long, 4.5"Tall & 2.25" Wide. Appears to me modern laser cut using modern equipment.
Just thought you might like to know that 'handarbeide' is Norwegian for 'handmade'!
